SOURCE: does anyone know where the motor for the convertible top is located on a 01 pontiac firebird?
its actually a very intricate system of motors and support arms i wouldnt try to do it yourself. pontiacs are notorious for having problems with those type of motors like windows, headlights, and convertable tops. as a matter of fact i had a pontiac sunfire with the same problem i just got the convertable top up and left it that way cause it got stuck half way up once so stop using it till you get it fixed or you might have a permanent convertable.

Be careful. There are two flashers. I replaced one once, and it didn't fix it. Found out later I replaced the Hazard flasher. Go to Autozone.com and see the manual for a diagram of where they are. One is hidded to the very right under the panel, the other one in the center.

You can go to a parts store and look in the Haynes manuals they have. They have very good electric schematics. You can also try logging on to Autozone.com and registering for a free account. When you do this, you can add cars to an online garage and get access to an online repair manual free of charge. i can not guarantee this manual will for sure have your fuse diagrams, though, but it is free so it is worth a shot. If all else fails, Google your car and fuse diagram.
