Those are both fuel injected. The 1992 is a multi-port injection system (one per cylinder), while the 1990 is throttle body injection- one or two injectors inside the throttle body assembly -which looks like a carburetor, but it isn't.

Advise on replacing or getting carburetor for my car.suzuki vitara 1992 manual with carby 2 door soft top

welcome to USA forum
we dont have 92 vitara's here we do have sidekicks /trackers
but carbs are ******* here, this car, this year, so zero CARBS.
our 92 both engines are fuel injected, TBI/MPI

finding carb rebuild kits are super hard this old a car.
and a mech, willing to touch one. 10x harder.
in the USA we have older Samurai's (Jimny in Euro speak)
the SAMMI's had carbs, and most of them (carbs) all are long long dead and gone. for all the reasons stated above, (0 support on carbs)
so we put in A nice Harley CV cab.
it is 100x more easy to tune than any weber made.
the weber needs custom jetting to work on your G16 engine.
(G13?) nah. i bet its G16 engine, right, and UNSTATED.
custom jetting, so join Vitara forum and post there.
ever google that.
Vitara forum?
its amazing that. small step.
we dont have G16 custom fueling systems pages here.
this place is a massive deep, un indexed or unorganized forum.

here is one seller, (random picked, I never spam)
study up on how CV works, it makes tuning vastly more easy.
a fact. (physics)

Wheres the fuel pump

More than likely in the gas tank. Go to autozone.com and register with them. Go to repairs and they will tell you where it's at for FREE.

1990 toyota corolla bad starter?! The ignition swith is fine, but when i got my tires changed the guy said it was probably the cable from the starter that needs to be repaired. Took to auto zone and had it...

is it fuel injected or an older technology car ie carburetor type fuel ?
once I had an older car that had a seal leak in carb and would do this as the fuel would evaporate over night !
had to change the carby over with a reco one.

Is the fuel pump inline or is it in in the tank?

if this one is fuel injected the pump is located in fuel tank access may be gained by removing lower section of rear seat and looking for a removeable plate with screws and wires running thru it remove plate and you will see the top of pump unit

Ran out of gas 90 toyota corolla fuel injection

Sounds like air in the fuel line. Try turning the key ON and pumping the gas pedal (it may take 10-15 times) and then try to start the car. You need to force gas through the fuel lines to dispel the air it was pumping when the car ran out of gas. If it doesn't work the first time, let it rest and repeat by pumping the gas. Best of luck!

Hyundai Exell will run for 20 min's and will die

hi there, is it carby or fuel injected?

CARBY - fuel pump, dies when warms up (most likely if you still have spark)-to test for spark remove a lead and stick a small screwdriver in and sit a few mm from an earth point(dont touch the metal part of the screwdriver) turn the car over you should see spark.
- needle and seat
- fuel filter (not likely)
- coil (if no spark when test)

FUEL INJECTION - i would go straight to the ecu, the 1990 is renound for having a **** ecu, they blow capacitors real easy and carry on in wierd and wonderfull ways. hope i helped.

Toyota Corolla 1990, fuel injection.

If there's really no spark from the distributor, perhaps there is water in it? WD40 used to be the favourite treatment for these things, didn't it?
