1994 geo tracker runs great then today we go out and it wont roll over

Wont roll over, the starter is dead? that it , called a no crank.
the starters job is to crank over the engine , that is its only job.
and fails
check fuses, first
is auto transmission crank in Neutral not Park per operators guide.
is battery charged to 12.6v? rested
are the battery lugs white with corrosion,
is it -50F outside? (alaska)
does starter crank fast with jumper cable jumps (AAA tow does that or so can you)

if jumper cables work then the battery is not charged or its bad.
if the car runs and the battery goes dead again, its bad or
the charge system is bad
if the battery drains as you sleep (not 12.6vdc in morning)
that called phantom drain. (ask)

Jumper cable starting is best test. of them all, cuts the job in 1/2.
if that fails , we hot wire the starter.
if that test passes, this too cuts the job in 1/2
if jumper cable fails and hot wire fails,the starter is bad. (at same time)

Do you have power even if lights go on dosent mean there is enough power to start ,did you try jump starting to get it to crank over
