Speedometer not working

Sounds like you blew a fuse in the fuse box should tell which fuse is what on most covers Good Luck Mike

the little spark is a fuse blowing so check every fuse under the dash and in the engine compartment.

Well maybe Check the fuses, If that does not work then when you can disconnect the battery for 24 Hours so the computer can reset. make sure all your ground cables are bolted tightly. hope it helps

I would first check the fuses before reprogramming. Most of time these systems are protected by fuses.

no guages replace cluster,three power boxes,change fuses and still no power on gauges

Look for a dimmer wire,, sounds like your radio dont have the option for the car dimmer switch,,

the power for these lights run through the dimmer wire for the radio. ether its not hooked up or the radio dont have the option for it.

there is a way to bypass the radio dimmer option,, BUT you have to know what your doing or you could fry something.

look for Car Radio Illumination/dimmer Wire: should be Green.

The stepping motors in the gauges go bad. Do a search on ebay for CHEVY SILVERADO INSTRUMENT CLUSTER for cheaper repair options, dealer costs $300.00

it could be a fuse....since a fuse is use just incase you get an overflow in current...and this prevents damage to gauges......

yeah check it first.....
