Do You know where the fuelpump relay is located on a Toyota Carina E, 1992 1,6 petrol. There is no power to the pump, so I suspect the relay. The EFI relay in the engine compartment seems to be working, so I need to know if there's a specific relay for the pump, and where I can find it. Thanks in advance. B.R. Anders

SOURCE: Need more power

Change the cam to one with a more aggressive profile, install a performance hi flow air intake system, hi flow mufflers and a set of exhaust headers, u will have to install hi flow fuel injectors and a re-program of the computer to take advantage of the above modifications. If u really want to go all out a Turbocharger would be the ticket, but that would cost $1000's

SOURCE: 1992 toyota pickup , blowing efi 15 amp fuse in

Check the circuit opening relay, located behind glove box or kick panel on right.
Look for signs of corrosion, this fuse only powers the fuel pump and the engine ecu

Yaris fuel pump fuse location car is not pumping petrol

Toyota has two fuse boxes regardless of make. One is in the engine compartment, and the other is normally near the foot well of the driver side door.

I would suspect the fuel pump would be in the engine compartment box.

It may also be your EFI relay that may be faulty.

Check connections on fuelpump.
It's probably time to change the fuelpump anyway.

Need location of the fuel pump relay on a 1990 toyota pu, six cylander 4x4

The Feol pump/circuit opening relay is located inside the cab on a relay block either behind the glove bosx or the right kick panel, I'll see if I can locate a location diagram and post it in a follow up. In the meantime locate the diagnostic check connector under the hood,it's located near the right fender on a fuse block, open the cover and put a jumper wire between the terminals FP and B+, turn the key on and let me know if this makes the fuel pump run.

No power to fuel pump, checked from circuit opening relay to efi relay power good to ther. where does it go next

from the relays it goes to the sending unit, i am about 80 percent sure, i haven't done a toyota pickup pump in a while, there could be a corroded connection at the top of the sending unit itself or the harness to the actual pump is no good.
