My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's windshield washer is not working.

My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee's (5.7L) windshield washer is not working on both the front and back. I cannot hear the motor working either. The first thing I would check is the fuse, but I cannot locate which fuse it is in the manual either. both windshield wipers work and everything else is fine except for the washer component. Any idea which fuse controls the washer? If it's not the fuse, what should I check next?

Check power at the pump motors. You may not see a fuse because some run off a circuit breaker. If all else fails, a bit "backyard" but you likely could break out the washer pumps from the system and make a simple push button on the dash to operate them.

Press in on the clip on the wiper blade and pull down. To install put the wiper around the hook and pull up until you hear a click and it locks in.

The washer pump is located on the washer bottle. Must check for power at pump when applying switch if no power (12 volts) check fuse or curcuit. If it has power replace pump. Also: if pump is operational check hoses for resteictions.

The fuse that controls it should be listed in your owners manual. Usually a 10 amp fuse in the fuse panel inside the car usually on the instrument panel somewhere.

2000 Jeep Cherokee Windshield Washer

You have a motor for the front and rear washer. Check the fuses. If the intermitted wipers does not work, there is a relay under the dash near the steering colum that needs to be replaced.
