sounds like motor is bad. you may be better served if you replace unit.

CARB IS BAD ,1/2 CLOGGED
BOTH FILTERS CLOGGED AIR AND FUEL
OR JUST A BAD SPARK PLUG, MISSING LIKE MAD.
i CAN;T HEAR IT RUN.
IF LEAN BURNING , CARB IS BAD. (BAD FUEL CAUSES BAD CARB)
AT BAD LEAN BURN MOST GENS(ENGINE) SURGES.

Hi,

Please check for spark fuel. Please double check that the generator isn't in extremely cold temperature when you're running it. After making these adjustments, please attempt to run your generator again.

I would also be careful and use a volatile air detector to make sure that if the generator works that it's not given off toxic fumes around it.

I would about bet it's the magnet on the flywheel has lost its magnetism and you need to replace the flywheel. Might see if you can get it tested.

clear rebuild or replace carb

CHECK IT WITH A TEST LIGHT OR HAVE IT CHECKED. CHECK ALL THE FUSES

Why not order a new harness here is manual with parts list you can order harness from powermate directly

if you send pictures of harness i may be able to help also the best way to figure this out is to get socket at other end of harness loose if possible and inspect this end to get wiring pattern for other end of harness...send pics if not sure

Golden lodge plugs have 4 firing points and last 6 times longer than a normal plug but are also twice the price but worth it if you are keeping the machines

Hi, do you have an ignition amplifier on the vehicle if you do i would check that item out.
