two cooler inside or one ,if two then yes around 900grms but if one then could be only 500grms refer to the manufacturers sticker under the bonnet ,this R 134 gas is now classed as aggressive so its a attracting a lot of interest from the europeon goverment and they have now increased the tax on it this year next year its going up again then the third year the tax will be doubled again at the moment a 15kg bottle is costing just under three hundred euros next year it will be 400 euros then 800 euros ,at the moment its costing me 20 euros in gas alone without labour costs and no we cannot buy a bottle of gas from wallmart as only persons with the certificate can buy R134 gas who have done the course at a approved centre like myself .looks like someone has given you the weights here as well ,454 grms to a UK pound think the american pound is the same its the gallon thats a bits smaller ,only work in metric now anyway as iam in spain

its clear to me ABS parts cost different.
due to them BEING DIFFERENT.
in general price diff. is quality. and or warranty diffs. or? other huge list of reasons..... (distance,taxes,, slave labor,etc)

buy the Timken, if serious.

buy one in spain and you can pick one up for very little money as nobody wants one secondhand ,now a diesel manual ?? that is a lot of money but a gas guzzler with a V8 somebody would even pay you to take it away so they do not have to pay the road tax for the year

ask a local mechanic to have a look for you ,not sure whats wrong from your description but i hope you had this car given to you for free ,with a manual gearbox i might be lucky to get 500 euros for a car this old maybe 700 who knows if the right person comes along ,in the Uk this vehicle is popular with the ethnic majority for taxing but again a manual ,auto this vehicle in the UK is worth a max of 200 uk pounds ,with a dodgy gearbox its scrap

i think you wasted your money on changing transmission oil ,what you should have done was to trade it in quick for a diesel manual version of this car ,now the other problem is that VW do not sell parts for the autobox only a complete exchange one ,cost around 3000 euros so its make your mind up time the irony is i have just scrapped a audi A whatever with the same box in perfect condition but if its not scrapped with a certificate from scrapyard then you cannot have the car taken of the road tax registry so you paying road tax for ever till you die then they embargo your bank account and sell your house ,

because of the costs/time involved,i would recommend you sell the car in the uk and buy another in eurozone.(why do you think a lot of lhd cars in the uk, stay that way???)

2500 dollars ,you joking or what a petrol one at that ,petrol engined vehicle isnt worth a light ,diesel yes but a gas guzzling CO2 emmiting monster ,with the cost of road tax as high as it is on this pollution machine .No its not worth anything if fact the present owner should pay you to take it away.This vehicle in the UK would sell for about 100/500pounds if your lucky and the top end price is if its working ok with a full years road tax and roadworthy certificate.here in spain about 1000euros or so, now a diesel in full working condition with papers in order and roadworthyness certificate about 2500euros .Dont touch this motor unless its given to you for FREE .You are joking about the price?? having a wind up ?? taking the proverbial pi??
