Unfortunately you have to remove the fuel tank,the pump is in it. It isn't that hard to remove on a lift, and if it is close to empty, it might not be too hard on jack stands and a second support on both sides, at the very least.

The list in my Acura for cold starts is:
* Low battery
* Faulty cold start injector
* Injectors leaking
* Distributor rotor carbon tracked

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

The fuel pump on all models except the 1986-90 Integra, is located in the fuel tank. On the 1986-90 Integra the fuel pump is located under the rear of the vehicle, near the drivers side of the fuel tank.

PRESSURE TESTING

See Figure 1
On all models, the fuel pump should run for about 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned ON . By removing the filler cap and listening at the filler, it should be possible to hear the pump run each time the ignition is switched ON . It will then stop again until the starter is activated.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the fuel filler cap.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Remove the service bolt and attach a fuel pressure gauge to the top of the fuel filter.
4. Start the engine and measure the fuel pressure with the engine idling and vacuum hose to the pressure regulator disconnected;

1986-1989 Integra-35-41 psi. (240-279 kPa) 1990-93 Integra-37-44 psi. (255-304 kPa) 1989-90 Legend-36-41 psi. (250-279 kPa) 1991-93 Legend-38-46 psi. (265-314 kPa) Vigor-43-50 psi. (300-350 kPa)

1. Check to see that the pressure decreases when the vacuum hose is connected.
2. If the pressure is higher than specifications, check for a pinched or clogged fuel return hose or faulty pressure regulator.
3. If the pressure is lower than specifications, check for a clogged filter, defective pressure regulator or leakage in the fuel line.
4. After inspection, remove the pressure gauge and install the service bolt with a new washer.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1986-1989 Integra

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Raise and safely support the vehicle and remove the left rear wheel.
4. Remove the fuel pump cover bolts and the cover.
5. Remove the fuel pump mount bolts and the fuel pump with it's mount.
6. Disconnect the fuel hoses and the electrical connectors.
7. Installation is the reverse of removal. Use new sealing washers when connecting the fuel hoses. After the pump is installed, turn the ignition switch ON and OFF a number of times to pressurize the system and check for leaks.

1990-93 Integra and Vigor
See Figures 2 and 3

1. On Integra, remove the rear seat and access panel and disconnect the wiring.
2. Remove the fuel tank.
3. Remove the pump flange mounting nuts and lift the pump out.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal. Use new sealing washers when connecting the fuel hoses. After the pump is installed, turn the ignition switch ON and OFF a number of times to pressurize the system and check for leaks.

3. Remove the maintenance access cover in the luggage area.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connectors.
5. Remove the fuel pump from the fuel tank.
6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Use new sealing washers when connecting the fuel hoses. After the pump is installed, turn the ignition switch ON and OFF a number of times to pressurize the system and check for leaks.

under the back rear passenger seat, The fuel pump itself is located with the fuel pump assembly. Locate the fuel pump assembly top which has 6 bolt with your fuel line and some hose going into. Consider first by reliefing the fuel pressure by taking out the fuel pump relay and starting your engine until it dies first before proceeding to taking out the fuel pump. You then will need to take the fuel line connection out and the hose leading to it, make note of what goes to what connection. Unscrew the bolts, and slowly take your fuel pump assembly out. There you will find a motorize round shape object which is your fuel pump. Take this out. Resintallation is reversal, make sure your fuel relay is installed back on after installation to start your car. I recommend replacing the whole fuel pump assemby, it's less labor intsensive.

Is all the air bled out of the hydraulics??

I would then suspect a faulty clutch component.

how long was it parked for/ may need fuel treatment and filter replacement.. recommend sea-foam for the tank.. 9 bucks at the parts store

they are below the driver side kick panel. It has a round latch turn over clock wise and pull cant miss it. Also there is another fuse box in engine compartment by the battery it has a cover pull it off.
