2007 Jeep Patriot. Do you have any suggestion why my 2007 Jeep Patriot is still not running right low revs. I replaced the crankshaft sensor and the throttle body unit and is still not running right.

Question edited for clarity.

Please always include full 'year make model' as the first three words in a question. (EDIT) fixed it. Deleted the duplicate. You have no model type and Jeep make a few. :>D Also 'not running right' is not very descriptive. (EDIT) added 'low revs'.

Sensors come in different qualities. Always buy OEM and never from China or Mexico. Your new senor may be faulty.

The Throttle body has a relearn procedure

https://www.google.com/search?q=jeep+throttle+body+relearn+procedure

If that doesn't work, you need an auto-electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose all the sensors and modules.

I have a 2007 jeep patriot. The check engine keeps coming on with the code p2008. Mechanic say fixed but check engine light keeps coming on and off. How do I fix problem

but you never scanned it the 2nd time, maybe the gas cap is loose.
p2 is jeep factory only code (unlike p0,1)
so only jeep books get this correct .
2007 MK Jeep it is.
is P2008 a rumor or did you see it with YOUR EYE and on what a real scan too?
P2008 Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) Solenoid Control Circuit

so what did he do? replace it , clean it? what?
if you clean it and it dont work, then its bad. replace it.
as for why the CEL glows now, you'd have to scan it again
mine has like 300 DTC's possible. so ID NEVER ASSUME its still P2008- not me , id scan it, any shop or store can scan it,
why wait, or guess or worry.?
or ask him to help, see if it is something new, or just the gas cap loose.

How do i fix it.
?
i dont know what you can do.... personally?
buy the FSM and read?
buy a scan tool and scan.
be clear as to all DTC thrown, and post them all.

I have a 2007 jeep patriot. It stalled at stop sign started ran rough. Parked came back drove it home ran u- scan code p0017 replaced crank and cam sensors still runs rough changed plugs were bad. I was...

code p0017 refers to crank/ cam oosition sensor bank 1 sensor B -correlation ===causes --wiring--CKP sensor--CMP sensor--mechanical fault.
It also refers to control modules, cooling fan--no signal===causes -- wiring--ECM.
If it has a timing chain then the the advice that it will not be the chain is good. So I suggest checking out the cam/ crank sensors and wiring

2009 jeep patriot, my esp, 4wd!, bas lights are malfunctioning, is there a solution? Dealership wants to charge me a $1000.00 to fix.

go to a local garage that specilizes in electric repair and get a better quote. Most likely a faulty body control module is your problem

2007 Jeep patriot Limited, headlight went out so I replaced the bulb- Light still does not work but the High Beams will work. Tried Different bulb same problem

Check your under hood fuses. There are separate fuses for high and low beams, and sometimes left and right. If this is not the case, then check the connector itself to see if any of the contacts are pulled out or corroded. Beyond that, you will have to consult a reputable mechanic. Best of luck!

Remote key for 2007 jeep patriot

Should say in your manual. If not most can be reset by standing within 2-4 feet from engine compartment and depressing two buttons on remote. Should hear an audible beep or doors should lock. Hope this helps!

the jeep patriot does really have gears since it is a CVT transmission. and since that it has been replace as you said i think that you may have an electrical problem of some sort whether it se a module or software for the module, wiring or a sensor
