SOURCE: Fault code P1000 [18,2,10,0],Ford Fiesta 2005
P1000 means that you or someone has disconnected the battery, and the car has not been driven far / long enough for the computer to relearn its stratagies.
Engine light could be the fault of the speed sensor, or wiring to the sensor.

SOURCE: engine runs like it has a miss fire fault code is
The fault code appears to be telling you the 02 Sensor nearest the exhaust manifold. You have two on yours. You very safest bet is to verify with your local dealer. The New Car Dealer will give you the code meaning over the phone if you give them your VIN number and the CODE.
Be sure to check on recalls as well. This can save you thousands of dollars on some cars.
Remember if you install the new 02 Sensor to be sure to use a thread compound to save trouble for whom ever has to replace it again.
ALSO - have a stone cold engine to do this. You will want to invest in a pair of gloves for removing the old unit as busted knuckles is legend when doing these types of repairs.
Once the new part is installed; remove the negative battery cable for 3-5 minutes then replace and let the car run for 20 minutes driving time and it will 'reset' your on board computer.

if its a diesel engine then their is a relay/timer box but this is a petrol so iam at a loss as to weither this is a code reader fault reading the fault as i have two code readers and cannot get into a ford of this age it will only read the vin number so iam at a loss as to either a cab heater fault which i cannot see throwing the engine light on or the autochoke sensor because all these code readers give the answer in good old american and we all know they cannot spell colour correctly or pronounce aluminium.Bless them no go for the engine autochoke sensor and check that out first but the main cause of the light on with a ford of this year is the O2 sensor their are two wires the same colour out of the four wires now disconnect the socket and check for a continuety on the sensor side of the socket and if no continuety then renew the sensor if a check shows continuety the check the opposing plug socket and check for a 12v supply .Hope this helps and sorry i cannot pronounce aluminium or know the difference between a saturn or a windstar and think all nissans are diesel ,red face on my part here but iam a brit living in spain .
SOURCE: golf 06 plate , got fault code p2100 and p2102
P2100 - Throttle valve control motor open circuit.
p2102 - Throttle valve control motor signal too small
look at your throttle valve control motor and see if it is either burnt out or the wires are off.
