To open the hood of a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with a dead battery, try these steps:
Find hood release lever: Usually located on left side of driver's footwell near the hood release cable.
Jump-start battery: Connect battery to another car's battery if it's completely dead. This will provide enough power to release the hood latch.
Use manual release: If jump-starting is not possible, consult owner's manual for manual release location.
Get help: If unsuccessful, call for help from a tow truck or mechanic.
Caution: Make sure the car is in park, emergency brake is engaged and engine is off before opening the hood.
Contact the dealer - there has to be a way - what do they do when they have a dead battery and have to get into the engine compartment? Check Google out for the problem?
Hood latches are cable operated not electrical.you need to have someone push down and pull on hood as you pull release.then lube latch when you get it open
When you pull the lever to pup up the hood in the driver seat beneathe the dashbord then go infront of your car the then pulled it up then there will be a stopper and there is a hooh just push the hook beneathe the hood while pushing it pull up the hood so that you can open the hood.
A lot of them have some merit, depending on whether you want to actually manually open the hood or use the inovative options posted there. Either way, i hope this helps and best of luck with your problem!
THE HOOD IS MECHANICAL MEANING ITS JUST A WIRE PULLING A LATCH. HAVE SOMEONE PULL UP ON THE HOOD AS YOU PULL THE LEVER TO OPEN THE HOOD. IF THE BATTERY IS DEAD THEN GO TO THE REAR SEAT. ON BOTH SIDE RIGHT AND LEFT, JUST UNDERNEATH THE REAR SEATS ARE THESE LITTLE HOLES . FIT YOUR FINGERS IN THERE AND PRESS UP ON THE SEAT. DO THE SAME TO THE OTHER ISDE. THE BATTERY IS THERE UNDER ALL THAT STUFF. JUMP IT FROM THERE.
on this car you will have to use a batt connected thru the fuse panle you will need to power the side of the panle with the hood fuse then all you will need to do is open the hood
