Remove wheel, brake cliper, cliper mounting bracket, brake pads and rotor.
Remove tie rod end and strut from spindle,
Remove large drive axle nut from center of hub by removing cotter pin and nut cover
Remove the ball joints 2 nuts and 1 bolt
Pull assy. lose from drive axle.
Take complete Hub assy with new bearing to an automotive machine shop and have them disassemble hub and replace bearing.
Reverse steps to reinstall

Hello vienotkelly: The correct Main bolt torque is 42 foot pounds. The connecting rods torque to 29 foot pounds. The torque sequence for the head bolts and the correct way to tighten the bolts are attached to this reply. Thak You for using6bd0ae1.jpg FixYa. Roger

If you have a vehicle application for the motor you can get a Haynes or Chilton manual from your local auto parts store. They usual run around $30.

Head Bolts Step 1-33 Ft. Lbs. Step 2- Additional 90 Degrees
Rod Bearing Nuts-29 Ft. Lbs.

Toyota Yaris Main and Big end Torque settings:
Tighten the main and big end bolts in sequential order and in two steps.
Main bearings. Stage 1.
22 ft lbs.
Stage 2.
44 ft lbs

Big end bearings.
Stage 1.
11 ft lbs.
Then Rotate bolt head a further by 90 degrees

Head bolt torque must be done in 3 steps:
1st 22 ft lbs
2nd 43 ft lbs
final 47 ft lbs
use this sequence of tightening:
9 - 3 -1 -6 -8
7 - 5 - 2 -4 - 10

Flywheel spec:
65 ft lbs

- Main bearings. Stage 1. 30 Nm.
Stage 2. 59 Nm.
