Most auto spares shops will be able to get a manual. remember that mazda bravo and ford courier run the same mechanical units an have a large amount of common electronics.

If a courier is like a Ford Ranger here in the U.S. and used a 2..2 or 2.5 4cyl, or 3.0/4.0 V6 the transmission shouldn't be a big issue to interchange, especially a 2wd with Manual Transmission, but even most 4wd stuff and automatics are interchangeable from 99-05.
