I'd say AM is weak and FM is dead
and the antenna is not connected to radio. missing off top right fender? if missing expect:
AM in the city is so powerful it can seem it is ok and is not. see?
FM never works if antenna is unplugged or omg missing

If a real branded labeled, MUSIC DISK it may work.

most old car Radios do not play all CDs,. TYPES.
this old CD drive inside needs to be cleaned (dust off all optics) must.

the cars users guide has no radio topic coverage at all
so they had separate manual for it. (and super rare to find)

nobody can guess radios, there. nor your unstated audio sources./

the radio has a 12vdc power fuse loose some have inline fuse and is split open(holder) and loose in the socket.
if all is dead check fuses.

Can you play music on your cell phone? I have 412 songs on mine I loaded them all on my cell with my computer and a USB cable connected to my phone. I have an application from the phone's website(LG) in my case. It allows me to get music , pictures and video on and off my phone. Way easier than trying to load it with blue tooth . Try going to your phone's website to see if they have the software to do it.

Best bet honestly is purchase an FM transmitter which are small compact and powered with cig lighter plug . Then just plug your phone or MP3 into the unit and u tune the transmitter to your car radio and play your music thru car stereo. Cd's always get scratched lost etc so maybe the above worth a try and about 25 to 30 bucks max .. Nick

afraid its after market radio dont think this is repairable ,well it is but the cost is more than a new radio ,use the radio on the phone and plug it into the USB socket

If the lighter works the fuse for the FM Modulator is at fault

if your radio still works why not go for a mp3 player and an fm transmiter.that way you can down load as much music as you can take and not have cd*s in the car waiting to get stolen...you do know that the cd is now obsolete???(you can play your mp3 in any car with an fm radio......)NO WIRES.....
i down load to my phone and then set up the bluetooth (blackberry)and it also gives me route maps.....but then we are in front of you tech wise....but behind japan...clever what......

Unfortunately the FM Modulator inside the Head Unit has stopped working. The only solution for this is to replace the Head unit or install an Aftermarket Head Unit.

you can buy an FM modulator and plug your i pod into that..........the modulator plugs into your cigarette lighter socket for power and will then transmit the i pod signal to a station on your FM radio...........you should be able to find one at any electronics store
