If you have a fan that has different speed settings (1234, or low med high etc) and the only one that works is high - then the blower resistor pack has failed. If you have a climate control unit (where you just pick a temp you want) then the fan is controlled by the heating system and it sets fan speed. If you have climate control style try lowering the temp to a lower setting (current temp in vehicle) and see if fan slows down. If not then climate control unit or fan resistor bad. If dial type and you get nothing on lower settings (only high works like mentioned above) you need to change blower resistor. It is located under dash near the fan itself. Look for small unit bolted in duct near fan with wire plug going to it.

2012 nissan Quest. on start up the blower runs on high in front and back. the climate control wont turn off , up or down. blowing in back as well.

may be faulty temp sensor ,,,,, or dust gathering on it giving false reading ,,,, you need to get a diagnostic reading to check internal temp readings and see if they are too low for the real temp of your area

2009 Nissan Quest My fan works on high all the

The resistor limits power to the blower to make for the slower speeds. It could be a sticking fan relay or the controller.

Does not.over heat runs great blower blows fine, fan speed switch is fried.so.it only runs on high but every now.and again it'll blow heat then strait back to cold. The temp on the car.stays perfectly...

First the switch this may not be bad switch it sounds like a bad blower resistor, this is what controls the speeds, the loss of heat may be low coolant level or a bad blend door actuator, depending on the heat/ac system in the van it may also be a bad vacuum leak in the engine compartment, some models use actuators to control system and some use vacuum, if the system looses vacuum the door will close until vacuum is restored, hope this helps.

My nissan quest 2001 washer fluid light stay on even when the water level is full. How do I reset it.

There is nothing to reset. It should go out once it is filled. If it doesn't there is something wrong with the float or wiring to it.

Hi I have a 96 nissan quest xe my problem is my car revs high before going to the next gear around 20 mph then it fine until I come to a stop and starts all over again also the check engine light stays on...

It is possible that the fluid level is low. If so then fill it because this will cause the transmission to slip. The next step is to change the fluid and filter. Hope this helps. Good luck.
