I did check the fuse box and it was blown but I have gone to Auto Zone and O reilly's and no one seems to carry my fuses. Do you know other than the dealership where I can purchase fuses for this problem?

the cigarette lighter fuse is usually the radio, clock ,instrument panel illumination fuse as well .If these other items are working ok i'd have to say the cigarrette lighter heat element is burned out or there is a loose /disconnected wire to the cigarette lighter socket
sometimes these are on a circuit breaker check with a test light for power in the center of your socket then be sure to check the ground if no ground or power always go back to source this circuit may even have a relay
The radio and lighter are on the same cig lighter fuse located in the fuse box at the left lower dash, it may be under a plastic cover, the fuse locations are marked on the cover.
you vehichle has 2 fuses that control the funtions in your dash. and a third that will be in the cigarrette lighter radio circuit. you interior fuse box is located on the far left sid eof the dash. open the drivers door and on the very end of the dash there is a door in the end cap this is the cover to your fuse box.
at any auto parts store you can purchase a cheap circuit light tester for 3 or 4 bucks a real handy and valuable tool to have in you car. one end of the tester has a alligator clip hook this to any bolt head or piece of metal and the pointed end you can test the fuses without having to pull each one out to inspect it for being blown. in the back side of the spade fuses in your fuse box there is a small hole where you can make contact with the fuse itself. one on each side of the fuse. if the tester only lights up on one of these pins the fuse is blown. if it lights up from both sides the fuse is good.
Seems like the accessory circuit is gone. If the feed cable is completely burned out, or severed, the fuse might be good, but the power will not reach the accessories. I am not too sure, but i think that the clock is part of this circuit too, is it working?
There is an interior fuse panel located on the left side of the steering column, behind the "change compartment". You just pull it out and you will see a fuse diagram on the back. The fuse you want to replace is the fuse for the cigarette lighter, it is a 15 amp fuse and is located on the bottom right.
As far as I can tell, the owner manual makes no mention of this interior fuse panel and furthermore the actual fuse for the cigarrette lighter doesn't mention that it is connected to the clock and the power mirror.
Hi,
You might can check the wires to your lighter, if you can get to them. Possibly you lost ground at the lighter socket.
I hope this helps... Good luck.
There should be a fuse in the panel under the left hand side of the dash board. It would be labled cig ltr or assy. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer, thanks.
