SOURCE: child seat tether anchors

This site shows all the recalls for the car. It says there was a recall b/c of the instructions manual and how to use the anchors. Hopefully this will help.

SOURCE: How can I fix my child's car seat?

Unless they were removed completely from the car they are there just put you hand between the back of the seat and the seat part of the seat and pull up. the seat part should raise up and the seat belt should be buried under there the tend to slip un the seat for some reason. Good Luck Leave me a fix-ya if I fixed Ya. Contact me if you need more help

SOURCE: I can't find a child restraint anchor point in my 1996 Mazda 121.

The rear seat child restraint anchors were not required (by law) until early 2000's. Most likely your car does not have them.

Not really, you just need to be carefull not to brake the plastic covers but you can get them separate than use a thin spanner and you should be able to do it without removing the seat.

My granddaughter is needing to be facing forward now and i am trying to locate anchor points in a 2000 dodge intrepid so the seat can be installed properly

Bolting in child seats is rather old fashioned since a range of child seats arrived on the market that are designed to be retained by the vehicle's own seat belts.
These seats are easily swapped between vehicles, are safe and secure and widely available.

I haven't needed to bolt in a child seat for nearly 20 years but I used to fit many for my customers. It was invariably impossible to piggyback the upper strap mounts onto the vehicle seatbelt anchor points and new mounts had to be drilled after removing seats and trim. Sometimes it was possible to piggyback the lower mounts. So far I haven't encountered any car with pre-installed child seat mounts.

We're about to buy a Suzuki XL7 2003 model but can't find the child seat anchor points in the middle row of seats. There are 2 hooks on the back of the middle and the LHS (passenger side) seats - are they...

Check for the seat belts under the seats in that row by pulling up on the little leather or plastic handles found on the side of seat or between the top and bottom of seats. Hope that Helps.

I need to know where to find the child anchor for a 1996 dodge caravan

There are no child anchors on a 96. This was around the time the latch system was under development. Just went through looking into this for my 1996 van. chico car seat fit well

The newer van seats will not fit either( I do have a 2007 seat for sale now ) as I tried to make one fit in my 1996 van with the latch system and it didnt fit. Wheels right spacing too wide for the anchor points.

Latching system for a child car seat honda accord

IF YOU GO TO A HONDA DEALER THEY SELL A SET OF THREE ANCHORS IN KIT.(JUST ASK FOR REAR CHILD SEAT ANCHORS)THEY RUN ABOUT $25 FOR SET. AT THAT POINT YOU CAN HAVE THEM OR YOUR NORMAL MECHANIC INSTALL FOR YOU OR IF YOU CHOOSE TO INSTALL YOURSELF THEY'RE FAIRLY EASY TO DO.IF YOU OPEN UP TRUNK AND LOOK AT BOTTOM SIDE OF REAR DECK(BEHIND HEADRESTS)YOU WILL NOTICE 3 SPOTS WHERE NOTS ARE WELDED TO DECK SPACED EVENLY ACROSS DECK.ONCE YOU HAVE A BEARING OF THERE LOCATION YOU TAKE A RAZOR BLADE AND MAKE THREE SMALL CUTS FROM TOP SIDE IN DECK FELT WHERE THESE NUTS ARE LOCATED. THIS IS WHERE SEAT ANCHORS BOLT TO.THERE ARE ALSO IN THE CREASE OF SEATS SMALL HOOKS TO ANCHOR LOWER STRAPS OF CAR SEAT TO.YOU KIND OF HAVE TO FEEL AROUND FOR THEM BUT ONCE YOU FIND FIRST TIME YOU LL GO RT TO THEM EVERY TIME. GOOD LUCK! JOEL
