On mine, select the odometer screen, hold down both buttons together for 3 or 4 seconds and it should reset the trip odometer to zero. You will lose all past fuel economy information but you get a fresh start.

I have a 04 chrysler sebring and the speedometer spiked all the way to the other side after the battery was changed. How do I get it back to normal?

try setting the odometer to read the trip miles. Then turn the ignition key to the off position. Now while holding the trip meter reset button in, turn the ignition key to the run position ( not cranking the engine just until the dash lights come on). The dash should go into a reset mode. You can release the trip reset button while the dash resets itself, should take less than a minute to complete.

The odometer and RPM gauge on 03 SXT are stuck. They went 360 back

Try this, it works on other Chrysler products.

Insert key and turn to run position. put odometer on the trip position. turn key off.

While holding trip meter reset button in, turn key to run position ( dash lights will be on ) release trip meter reset button and watch the gauge cluster go through a test cycle.

After this cycle the gauges should return back to normal.

Hope this works for you.

2003 chrysler town & country speedometer stuck

sit in the drivers seat close the door. with the key off hold the trip odometer button in then while holding the button in turn the key on. if done correctly this will put the MIC (mechanical instrument cluster) into a self test. if the speedometer does not move like the rest of the gauges during this test the MIC must be replaced. if the speedometer does move it is likely your problem will be fixed, however, if the speedometer does move but it does not start working properly then further diagnostic will be needed.
