1993 lexus ls 400 and it had a gas leak so i replaced the hose,now the car will turn over and run for 1 second and then shut off,could there be air in the lines?could there be a automatic shut off switch?like when you have a accident it shuts off the fuel?

take lose the hose running to air filter or take the hose loose from the throttle body and pour you a little gas in to the throttle body put the hose back on and try to start it,it should start
each corner will have drains, sometimes you can get a long air gun and shoot some air down there and clear the stoppage, but be careful that you dont blow the hose off. sometimes it just may need to be lubricated.
On my 93 lexus ls 400, the heater control valve is gone and was bypassed. It mounts to the firewall under the hood. if it needs to be replaced your car will blow only heat
seperate problems. you starter is under intake manifold and is most likly the problem and the dash lights go bad on older lexus ls400's.would have to be replaced.
