My vette sits for weeks at a time, from November till March. When I start it is when I hear this noise.
Sounds like valve tappets.
If it's a colder winter than normal, I would change the engine oil to a lighter weight oil, like 5X20 or around there.
Check your car manual for oil weight to use in winter temperatures.
Hope this helps.

COULD BE A HOT SPOT WHEN YOU SHUT IT OFF THE OIL BURNS OFF AND THE COLD START IS THE DRY LIFTER AND ROCKER CONTACT OR THAT SPRING IS WEAK UNTIL IT HEATS UP AND EXPANDS TO CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN THE ROCKER AND THE VALVE STEM
now that you said the car sits all the time with out starting the oil takes a minute to get to and could be thick because of the constant cold and just sitting there if its outside with a cover on it thats worse than in a attached garage to your house its colder change your oil to a thinner oil 10 w30 -5 w 30 and start it more often this will keep the rockers and valve train lubricated also what I said before there could be a weak valve spring and it's slightly less in tension letting the valve stem stay down a 1000's of an inch then you get the tap until the metal expands from the heat of the engine pushing the spring up that tiny bit to close the gap remember science class when metal is heated it expands and when its cold it contracts
