Why dont my lights work in my 2000 mecedes s 500

None , two - located in the under hood fuse / relay box. fuse # 32 - 40 amp an # 11 a 20 amp . This power the sun roof module , do you know what a electronic module is ? Power for the sunroof switch comes from the module.

check your owners manual or look on or in the fuse box cover for roof fuse if fuse is good check for voltage then again the motor is shot or switch don't work

It could be a burnt out fuse. There are 2 places where the fuses are located; one under the hood near the battery and the second is to the left of the steering wheel. The inside panel cover has the number and what item that the fuses controls. I use a multimeter to check the continuity. If it buzzes, then it is good.

i have s40 1999 volvo interior lights and stereo was not working but dash lights and headlightswhere fine, also i had car with cross on dash bottom rhs in orange on. replaced 10 amp fuse in main fuse box under the hood rhs. it is located in triple fuse holder. it seems hard to pry of but flat bladed screwdriver new fuse all lights working and orange warning light gone.

check the master fuses under the hood there is usualy one maked acc thats accessory fuse

if you take out the cover at the interior light there is a hole were you can put a allenkey in to close it

Check under your hood for a second fuse box.This box should contain fuses and relays.Some times the box lid will tell you whats what ie.horn relay,fuel pump relay,ect.Look to see for a relay for your sunroof.Your sun roof takes a lot of power to run and should be on a relay.Your light and clock be on the same relay.Good luck.

There's another fuse box under the hood I think it's near the left hood hinge.

check the fuses.Maybe inline fuse on the alarm usually lights and sunroof run off same circuit
