Get the sensor at Napa. Its pretty easy to change. The sensor is located under the clutch pedal itself.

Try checking relays in the fuse box under the hood. If all checks out ok, check timing belt/chain.

Connect battery>>>>try unlocking the vehicle from the inside (door closed), using the power un/lock button. Make sure the key is set to the "on" position. Most of the time this works. If this doesnt work, try using the key to lock and unlock the door through the key hole. Hopefully this helps!!

SOURCE: 2001 sunfire put new starter in car would not

Hi, it sounds like the starter solenoid was not wired properly. You have 2 wires at the starter, right? The bigger wire goes to the big top post on the solenoid, right? The smaller wire is called the start wire and it goes to the smaller terminal labeled "S." Is that how you wired it? You also have to be careful when tightening the nuts on the terminals that the start wire terminal does not touch the other terminals and vice versa. Do you have the starter in the car now? Can you take a picture to send me?

Ignition relay or fuse could be the problem. When you turn the key to start do you hear a fuel pump kicking on and or do you have spark when you hot wire the starter (I know it's hard to check while trying to start it)? You can email me back and I might be able to pinpoint it more.

I was driving my 99 neon and heard a pop. The clutch peddal went to the floor and i cant get the car to go into gear

the hydraulic slave cylinder may have let go and will need replacing. its also possible that the clutch pressure plate broke or the clutch plate. you don`t say how many miles you have on the clutch. you also don`t say if it won`t go into gear with the engine running, which indicates clutch, or with the engine off.

1998 Honda Accord Won't Start

Park neutral safety switch maybe be the reason for the no crank ! Try putting the vehicle in park ,then try to crank the engine . Testing the electrical circuit is the best way to trouble shoot this problem , along with do a voltage drop test on the starter circuit ! This will test the battery cables an connections .

How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit
Does it have a manual or automatic transmission ? Manual ? clutch switch . Looking at a wiring diagram I also see a starter cut relay !

Then click the search button , then click the blue link ! Check the starter cut relay also . Videos on youtube showing how to test a relay controlled circuit !

2004 chrysler pacific will start sometimes but sometimes won't

I would suspect the fuel pump is the problem, it may be sticking at times and this causes a no start. The pump is located inside the fuel tank and it is electric.

Hyundai Elantra clutch Pedal Stuck Up

The axle job should not have caused any problem to develop in the clutch.
I don't see how they could have.
If you can work the slave by hand, it may be a problem with the clutch master cylinder. Maybe the rod from clutch pedal into the master is bent or binding up and won't travel into the master. You could check if master operates easily by taking line off at the slave cylinder (or if not able to remove hose, then open the bleeder valve on slave) and see if your pedal operates now. Use a can to catch fluid if you don't want it to spill on floor. If the pedal still won't move it must be a problem with the master cylinder or the clutch rod.
If the pedal works with line removed, or the bleed valve open, then the release bearing inside the bellhousing must be binding up and not moving forward to engage clutch. (The slave cylinder pushes the clutch fork lever which pushes the release bearing forward on a shaft up against the clutch pressure plate to allow the clutch to operate .If the release bearing is the problem, the transaxle will have to be removed to fix it.
As I said, though, if you can operate the slave and the cllutch lever it pushes with your hand, it doesn't sound like it is binding down there. Check the pedal's push rod going into the master cylinder. Good luck.

My land rover discovery 1 1995 won't start i get

You need a noid light for that but since they are all not firing it's most likely the cam shaft position sensor. That tells the computer the cam shaft position so it knows when to pulse each injector. Let me know if that's it. The cam shaft sensor should be pretty cheap.

I recently bought a 2nd hand 2003 galant 2.0, after my mechanic replaced the timing belt, the engine won't start. There was no spark on the cables. What's wrong? Please help.

It is imperative to have a very experienced mechanic performs a timing belt service!! If not done correctly on this vehicle, severe engine damage may occur. I would recommend checking the cam position sensor, this controls spark!! If damaged or disconnected, you will experience a "NO START" condition!!
