Most likely the battery has insufficient charge to turn over the starter motor.
If you can start the car by jump starting from the battery in another vehicle then you know your battery is the problem. In that event it needs to be recharged or replaced if it will no longer hold power. It is probably the original battery in the car and typically these can give trouble in anything from 3 - 5 years depending on quality and a range of other factors.

I would start by banging the bottom of the gas tank while you are cranking it over. If this causes it to start, replace the fuel pump. If it still doesn't start, there is a valve on the fuel rail on the top of the engine (you may have to remove plastic cover). Remove the plastic cap on the valve, and while you have someone cycle the ignition to the run position from the off position, depress the center tab on the valve and see if gas comes out. If it doesn't, replace the fuel pump. If it does, let me know and I will help you further. (note: replace fuel filer at same time.)

Replace the starter. If its a Nippondenso Starter a Alt/Starter shop can just replace the Solenoid Contacts.

It sounds like this could be your fuel pump sensor also as mention in the earlier post the click could be the pump relay reseting allowing the pump to come on to deliver fuel to the engine. You may also want to check the ignition relay in the fuse box under the hood, a weak relay can heat up and need time to reset before letting the engine start, at the dealership they may not give it time enough to heat up to cause the problem. When the problem occurs again turn the key and listen for the pump to come on if it does come on, then move to the next solution. Hope this helps.
