If it is a burnt cd then your cd player is having problems reading it. Probably didnt finalize good if burnt or its a cheap brand of cd. I always get an error with memorex cds

the best thing to do is go to a reputable car audio shop
and have them put you on a new aftermarket radio. This should be able
to be done under $200 for a decent one. The other option is to find a
service shop that fixes factory radios, but this will cost probably
just about as much for the labor of pulling the radio, getting it
checked out and then fixed and reinstalled. Also if you buy a new one it will have a warranty on it...

This is a part failure in the mechanism that loads and ejects the disk, there are no repair manuals avail to either the tech or the consumer, the only place that the factory gives this info and parts to are factory authorized repair stations, bottom line you must pull the deck and contact a Ford dealer in your area for location of the nearest factory repair station. I was dealer tech for 20 years and that is how it is done.
