you will have to take it to the dealer to have the computer reflashed in order to reset it. they will tell you why the light is on so you can fix the problem. when the light is on the air bag will not deploy if you have a accident
air bag light on posible causes car been in accident and air bags activated and replaced without resetting air bag modual. bad conection or broken wire under front seats theres conectors for seat belt tensioners all linked to air bag warning light have a look under your drivers and passengers seat make sure they aint pulled when the seats moved back n forth

a: air bag DOES not deploy in an accident.
