Could be wrong, but I called my Lincoln Dealer a few months
ago, to help someone here & was told that you do not need radio codes
until you get past 2000 & then not on all vehicles

Most auto parts stores have them or can get them in within a day or so. Be sure to get the motor and track assembly to save your self hours at installation [yes, i said hours]. Then pop off the interior door panel, disconnect everything, reinstall and within an hour or so you are done. J.

Unhook the battery and change one wire at a time

better if you take it to a mechanic but if you really need to know you just take off the door panel then you take off the bolts then take off the electrical switch. once you recieve the new part you do these steps backwards..

Your window is not getting stuck. The plastic gear parts in the window motor has crumbled OR the cable in the window regulator has broken.

hello, this is posaably a bad or loose ground in the circuit, it could even be in the headlamp switch itself. does the problem exist in the high beams as well?......good luck, marty
