No. The rubber seal on the front of the compressor leaks on those. The sealant is more for a evap core, or a condensor leak.

Sealant could solve your problem but it could also damage the compressor more.

2005 xc70 volvo ceiling leak when it rain

Sounds like rubber seal is leaking, check the rubber seals along the side of the windshield and along the inner door. The seal can be easily replaced or patched with silicon sealeant.

Hope this helps

'98 GMC Sierra is leaking water inside the cab on the passenger side when I have the A.C. turned on. I can see where the water is coming from, but I can't get it to stop leaking.

There is a drain under the vehicle under where the ac lines go into the vehicle cab',look directly below the ac lines,it is hard to find but it is there ,use compressed air ,like a air compressor or air tank, with a blow gun and blow the drain out,if it unclogs the drain,it will pour out like a water fall,if this was at all helpful, please rate thank you.

Can some post the 1999 gmc sierra wiring diagram

you don't have enough pressure in your system. odds are you have a leak someplace and the factory installed a saftey switch to keep the ac from running when there is no pressure. This way you don't end up burning up your compressor.

There should be a big nut in the center of the wheel hub. You will have to remove atleast one of the ball joints if it's IFS.
