P0302, see I now it, but is it only 1? DTC error?
2 engines , or where? and up to 5 world wide, NO VIN
Engines, Mitsu. no clue told.

my best guess USA is VIN K engine, no vin told so engine is UNKNOWN,

Low combustion on #2 cylinder, (spark,fuel injection or compression bad)#2
#1 is on crank pulley end. #4 is at transmission I4, F1234R
rear means tranny end. oK?

all V engines 99% #1 is the bank V that is most forward cyl. of all.
to the crank pulley's
2nd is always 2nd in firing order, always,and PCM dictates it.

2.7l v6 24v ffv . dohc mpi engine.
firing order, 2.7L 1-2-3-4-5-6 even odd ;odd banks.




causes (v6 cops)
1: spark plug bad #2
2: spark coil bad, COP 2 dead? or weak or boot bad.
3: oil flooded inside the spark plug well, shorting all above out.
4: injector bad #2 (omg PCM, nah) swap 2 top find it;
5: compression fails #2
only 1 code told so answer is 100% based on 1 code only 302
6: rare bad cam lobe.
7: rare cracks in head , antifreeze leaks to #2 combustion chamber.
8: oil leaks to #2 via all classic ways.

Look at all the spark plug connections on the cap. There should be a raised number 1 next to the connector. You can also take out the #1 spark plug , turn the engine by hand with your thumb over the spark plug hole and when compression pushes your thumb off the hole watch the timing mark on the dampener. When the mark lines up with the TDC mark then the rotor on the distributor is pointing to #1 spark plug wire.

i would check and see if spark pluges are firing. you can take one out and plug into spark plug wire then let the bottom of the plug sit on engine and get someone to try to start while you look at the plug to see if there is any fire. if you have no fire or fuel it would be the crankshaft sencer. it could be the timing belt but the motor would sound different turning over then it used to.

Spark plugs are under where the thick plug wires are, or each plug has it's own coil on top of it. A coil is a thick brick like box.
If you need to ask , maybe you should be changing them yourself.

Should be an intake plenum under the hood. Remove plenum and they are rite in the top of the head.

The filter is inside the transmission. You need to take the pan off the bottom then you can replace the filter and the pan gasket.
