The 12v winch on my Snowbear plow is not working up or down. I removed the cables and connected cables straight from the battery and the winch worked. Where do I look now

the obvious place to work on would be the switch as bypassing it makes the winch work. The problem will be there or the solenoids that the switch controls . What about the wire to the switch

If your wiring a remote control to the winch or inside control,,, 4 solinoids type,,make sure the solinoids have ground on the brown wire(warn)...if you don't have a ground all it will do is click,,,even if power is applyed

My winch don't move it all?

if you can use the winch manually by pressing buttons on the winch then the problem will be in either the remote unit(Battery in back to front) or the receiver in the winch

How to make 12v DC power supply to power my winch

use a 12v car battery and a small battery charger... a winch draws alot of amps when in use... so you need the battery to supply the amperage ... 12v power supplies are low amperage output supplies... so will not work (inexpensively).

Trying to wire up a warn rt25 winch am now at the 12v red wire to keyed line .Suzuki says accessory wire already avail which one and where is it

There should be a spot in your fuse box to connect it to. You pobably need to put a contact clip(slide on) on your wire end. Personally I like it directly to battery, fused if needed and put a kill switch under the hood.
