SOURCE: Hello accent 2004 with anti theft system battery flat anti theft

Have you verified this system is running the battery down? The system you describe is called the Remote Keyless Entry System (Electronic Time/Alarm & Control System - ETACS Module). It cannot be 'disconnected' without disabling other systems (intermittent wipers, Chime bell, Door Warning, Dimming Off Room Lamp, Seat Belt indicator, remote power door lock/unlock system, etc.)

SOURCE: how do you reset the anti theft system

Try disconnecting your battery cables then wait about 10 minutes. The computer should reset itself. Reconnect the wires to the battery. It is normal for the theft light to blink about every 5 seconds when the ignition key is out or in the off position. This means the system is armed and working properly. Hope this helps. God bless!

SOURCE: oil sending unit on 2004 chrysler sebring V6

Should be located close to the oil filter. It will screw in like a spark plug. It has a harness plug. Easy to change, save yourself $70 in labor. You will need a fairly large wrench to remove

How to reset 2005 Chrysler Sebring convertible anti-theft system because it has new battery and new starter

Here are a couple of things to try: Method 1: Step 1: nsert the key into the door lock. Use the side door on the driver's side and the physical key even if there is a keyless entry system on the car. Step 2: Turn the vehicle key to unlock the car door without releasing it. Hold the key for 30 seconds in the position. https://www.popalock.com/franchise/houston-tx/local-locksmith-blog/how-to-shut-off-your-cars-anti-theft-device/

There is no reset. If it is having some kind of issue like locking you out you need the dealer to sort it out.

Your anti theft system has engaged. You can usually reset it by locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key. Unfortunately I am not a Chrysler expert, so am no help other than that.
