Oil leak through the distributor

did you check the water pump for leaks if you do not see coolant on the floor a good posibility you have a head o head gasket problem, first check for the obvious like coolant reservoir, cap, water hoses for any leaks: Remove oil filler cap and inspect if it has a white milky goo on it inside filler cap then you have a head gasket leak

Do you mean filler cap or the oil filter? An improperly seated O-ring on an oil filter is a common source of oil leaks, but these leaks are usually major and noticeable as soon as the engine is started. An oil pressure switch can also be a source of leaks, but a much slower leak. A leak from an oil filler cap would be slower still.

check the PCV valve, If its plugged you'll get the same results, most back pressure in motors of any type is oil pump, defective check valve in the filter section , try this, remove the PVC valve and the oil cap at the same time and block the vacuum line to the PVC hose, this eliminates the PCV system, and see if that reduces the back pressure, the only other thing it could be is bad rings ( just a note, did you recently start using synthetic oil ?)
