HOW TO CHANGE DASH BOARD LIGHT BULB

Is this the only light that is out? If so the bulb has failed. You would have to change the bulb. Pop the plastic cover over your instrument cluster, Unscrew the instrument cluster (4 screws) , pull towards yourself .The bulb is behind the temperature gauge. There you will find a holder of the bulb, turn left or right to unscrew remove and change the bulb. I believe it to be 194. When installing bulb wipe clean with cloth and don't touch. Skin oil tends to make for short life. Install bulb and go in reverse till all is together. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

you have to take out nearly everything on the dash to get behind there. odds are its a diode and the board may need to be replaced.

Did you just recently purchase this vehicle? When you first turn the key on (don't start the engine) it does a bulb check. Look to see if the 'Air Bag' light comes on. If not, then you need to replace that bulb. It beeps to let you know the bulb isn't working.

the bulbs are led and are built into the dash gauge cluster, non replaceable i believe, best bet call dealer and ask for bulbs

HAve you checked the guages fuse? That sounds like what may be causing the broad spectrum of problems..

If I remember right that has a Printed Circuit board type interface that you plug the bulb into. It is possible that you have a bad contact stopping it from working. If that is the only bulb that is effected it is most likely a contact. If the other lights on the dashboard are effected as well, check your fuses and if those are all good you will need to consider that the Dash light Brightness control is either faulty or turned down all the way. You can test for voltage at the socket with a multimeter to see if power is getting there.

It sounds like the headlight switch is bad.

tray to check fuse and relay. If both are okay. you can change the light bulb in dash board. Just take out the dash board, remove and replace the bulbs. Make sure fuse is okay. Is the signal light works in the dash board?. Let me know

pull the cluster out... it will not be as easy as the older ones. but pull off bake plate exsposing the circuit board.. you will see these little black pieces that will turn then pull out that is the bulb.. get replacement from dealer and pop back in... any probs let me know

The dash is lit by one or more bulbs located on the edge of that clear plastic. You may be able to get to the lamp holder by reaching up behind the dash. If not there, then the dash will need to come off.
