1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - sunroof leak

Hey. I have gotten a lot of help here before, so I thought I'd try in again.

My daughter has a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 and the sunroof is leaking, (bad). I do not think the sunroof raises up and down. I believe it is stationary. What advice can you offer before we have to take it and have a new sunroof window installed?

Lift rubber edges and apply clear silicon sealant under edges let cure hose with water to test, if leak then seal edges of glass with eurothane sealant, not silicon will rot in sun within year

How does one add transmission fluid to 1995 jeep grand cherokee laredo?

Look for the dipstick where you check the transmision fluid level. If you need any you pour it down the dipstick hole. Add it in small amounts and check in between additions, its really easy to overfill. Once overfilled a real pain to get it out.

My sunroof is stuck open on my 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo? Would it be a fuse? If so, how do you change it?

Definitely, you'll have to take a look to see if any obstruction is visible. To check the fuses first you'll need to find them. The fuse block cover should illustrate what each fuse is for. You can visibly check the fuses, with a flashlight. Just take a look at the sunroof fuse and check that its not burned. That the metal inside goes from one side to the other and its not burned or broken. You can use a test light or a multimeter, a test-light will do. I usually check them visibly, its obvious when you have a blown fuse just by looking at it. Its better just to pull out the suspected fuse to check it.

My sunroof is stuck open on my 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo? Would it be a fuse? If so, how do you change it?

Check the fuses under the dash on the drivers side, next to the steering column. There should be a fuse puller on the fuse box door. Also a chart of which fuses at what so you can go to the proper fuse. Good luck, Please let me know if this is the solution to your problem.

My daughters 1993 jeep grand cherokee laredo alrm system went off while she was in school and ran her battery down so we tried jump starting it and it will start for a few seconds then shut off, I reset...

I have a 95 Grand Cherokee, its got this built-in 'kill switch' (lol) that i had to figure out - the alarm wouldn't stop going off until i put the key in the driver door, then turned it Right-Left-Right...

Your probably already aware of this nuisance, but i thought i'd post it it just in case.
