I have a 2006 Ford Taurus and the radio will not work recently replaced battery alternator and starter any suggestions on what it could be I'm check for radio fuse but cannot find radio fuse everything else works
If the radio is not getting any power then there will be a fuse in the main fuse box and also behind the radio....on the radio itself, radio needs to be removed to access it! when the power is sorted you will need the radio code, if you do not have this you can get this by following the link below:
ford radio code united kingdom gumtree
You need to put in your security code,security code is found on car pass.....eg...6743.........your car maual should explain to you how these numbers are entered.......once the security code is entered....your radio will start to work .
It will be key coded if you've disconnected the battery you will have to input the code also check there wasnt a seperate wire to the battery for the radio
All fuse boxes, there is not just one;
and its marked RADIO.
radio will not work (what does that mean)
100% dead
asking for code
display dead or not
or display works but all stations dead.
what.
if 100%dead it can only be 3 things
1: fuse blow , i bet
2, wire cut to radio (called power B+)
3: the radio is dead, bench test it. ask

replace radio ,sounds like you flashed the battery the wrong way around and you have killed it

Your tuner memory wire also powers your dome light. See if it comes on. Replace fuse
