Hi Thomas Jackson, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? This unit has 3 mounting bolts and the cable is a clipped in and it should be easy to remove. Are you removing because the handle does not retrieve. Good luck

My emergency brake is having trouble releasing on my 2001 chevy blazer s10. it releases only by when i pull the lever and when i push the pedal back into position for it be released. im worried of thi

i would check the pedal itself, then pull the drums and try adjusting the brakes, if you havent done this in a while to clean and adjust them you might be better off replacing the shoes, all springs and adjusting them till the drum just starts to drag and rechecking the ebrake, if this doesn't help you will probably need e brake cables and possibly a pedal assembly if it is binding

Driving a 2001 f550 ! my problem is i have no brake lights ! i have replaced the brake pedal switch and checked fuses there good ! need some tips on were to start ?

Their should be a brake relay near the brake pedal switch.... check to make sure you don't hear a "click" when you hit the brake pedal....a "click" on a relay generally means it has gone bad and just simply needs to be replaced......that isn't the case then...

Check the wiring harness that leads to the back of the truck from at the switch and at the bed of the truck to make sure the wires are intact and the contacts from wiring harness one and wiring harness two are attached and not covered in a thin film of dirt, grease, etc.

2001 Ford F650 with 7.2 Cat deisel acceleration problem

Check your TPS Throttle positioning sensor. Sounds like it has a dead spot in it or it is failing. May also be a wiring harness issue or loose connection at TPS too! If its intermittent then it will soon go out completely. It should be located on your fuel pedal. Remove it and check it with an ohm meter. Check resistance all the way thru from 0-100 percent. When it is not working it should do nothing and show no resistance. When it is working the resistance value will increase and or decrease as you turn the sensor.

Location of fuel pump relay on e-450 v-10?

The Fuel pump relay is in the Power Distribution Box under the hood, it is relay K. If it is the fuse then fuse 17 in the PDB.
It could also be the cut off switch, which is either under the dash above the brake pedal or behind the passenger kick panel
