The seat controls all go thru the BCM (Body Control Module) It usually is located under the drivers seat. Have it checked.

How to reinstall rear seats in 2011 chevy Malibu lt. I took them out to replace some speakers and I'm having trouble putting the seats back in place

they are a tight fit, check underneath to make sure nothing bent then place carefully over the catches and with pressure down and back, they should click right in.

I am too short to see over the hood in the 2011 BMW 528i. Can the seat be raised more?

The seat will only go as high as it does. Very sorry to say there is an aftermarket device, it's called a booster seat. We have some ladies that put a pillow (cushion?) on the seat to get a little extra height.

Electric seats in 1999 Siverado move back & forth

the tracks for the seats are pressed out aluminum. they have motors that control the seat adjuster. it seems when worn they will not stay in place and need to be replaced. If anyone that is very overweigh this will create this problem sooner than expected
The seats are made to withstand 250 max. I have sold tracks by GM for 30 years and know personally what they can do in time from weight
(nothing personal)
