While starting vehicle ETC warning display vehicle not throttle

It may not be getting fuel. Spray a little starting fluid into the throttle body. If it starts, they you have a fuel problem. Check the fuel pump fuse and relay. Might trying hitting the fuel tank below the fuel pump to see if it will start.

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop . Problem with electronic throttle control , do you know what that is ?

Could be sensor in gas pedal or throttle body , or wiring or computer or etc... etc.... Don't go by the problem this vehicle has ,could be a number of other thing's .

What make , model an year vehicle ? Wrench warning light , for most vehicles has to do with electronic throttle control . Video's on youtube showing how it work's .

What make , model and year vehicle ? Does it have electronic throttle control (drive by wire ) ? Are there any warning lights lit on the dash ? check engine , ETC , yellow wrench symbol .

I think this means your electronic throttle control (ETC) has a problem. The ETC takes the signal from your accelerator pedal to control the throttle plate in the throttle body. See this link:

That light is the Electronic Throttle Control Light or ETC Light. When this light is on it is warning you that there is a potential concern with the throttle control. It is best to get the vehicle to an Authorized Dealer at your earliest convenience. However if the light is on and flashing you may experience a racing/rough idle or engine stalling and your vehicle may require a tow. In this case get your vehicle to an Authorized Dealer right away.

Electronic Traction Control

I do not know why the mechanic would suggest the SRS warning light relates to the traction control because it has absolutely nothing to do with the TC system.

SRS means "Supplementary Restraint System" - ie, the vehicles airbag system. If the warning light comes on the system has recognised that there is a fault with the airbag system which could mean it would not deploy as designed in the case of an accident. The causes of the warning light can be numerous including a failed sensor, a problem in the wiring or physical interference with the wiring, one of the electrical plug connections coming loose or being disconnected, a problem with the seat belt pretensioners etc etc.

You should take the vehicle to a dealer to have the problem properly diagnosed, rectified and the computer reset.

Normally the warning light will continue to display every time you start driving the vehicle until the cause of the problem is identified and the issue is fixed.

The airbag system is an important safety feature designed to eliminate or reduce injury in the case of an accident. Manufacturers do not include warning systems like this to annoy owners. Just ignoring the warning and looking for ways to just remove the warning would be irresponsible, especially if you are using the vehicle to also carry passengers.
