Bought used car, has a pioneer stereo w/blue tooth, got into phone,turned my phone to blue tooth, it's asking for pin, has prevous owners name and pin how do i change it?
You can try disconnection the power to the radio for 5 minutes (all the power not just the main power) then reconnect it and see it it reset.
The pin is generated between ur Bluetooth devices. With both devices, ensure the settings show that Bluetooth is on. Next, use your phone to discover Bluetooth devices , once your phone discovers the car radio, click on the car radio which will attempt to connect, or pair, the two devices. A pin should show up on both your phone and the radio face display. Hopefully your radio has a digital face display. Next, push the select knob on your radio to accept the pin code.
