I have a pro start PS04-G5 remote starter on a 2009 rav4, just installed, it will not turn car over. why?

I nstalled the remote starter, everything but start works... even if i start with key and press remote button to remove key, works. when i press start button the lights turn on in dash unit makes clicks and then nothing... it is like if you tried starting with key turn to start and nothing happens'

2009 Pontiac G5. What kind of Antifreeze do you add to it?

it does not use antifreeze. you will need to buy Dexccol premixed 50/50 coolant. There is no universal coolant, use Dexcool only, it is red. you should never ever add water, only premixed coolant.
the premixed is good to -40 degrees F.

I recently changed the battery for my remote but now it won't start my car. It shows that the remotes on and everything but still won't start.

Remote Starter?

You will need an alarm installer who is familiar with the make of remote starter to software link it all back together with his pro grade scan tool computer.

I just installed a JVC aftermarket Stereo in my 09 G5, and no sound comes out of the speakers at all, and when i start my car and turn on the stereo, my gauges go completely retarded... i know i hooked it...

You may wish to check to see if your g5 is equipt with a external amp where the radio and amp are two seperate parts, if so you may not be giving power to the amp which can cause no sound.

I want to install Toyota OEM remote starter to my 2009 Venza with factory installed push button starter and factory alarm. Any recommendations for installation guide or video?

Do not install the OEM starter - it only works from about 80 feet away and is quite problematic. I just purchased a new V6-AWD with the push button start and the dealer is taking the OEM start out as we speak and taking it for an after market starter.

If you decide to do it yourself (you'll need to be quite mechanically inclined for this install), check youtube as the poster above has suggested - but again I highly suggest you consider an aftermarket starter and save the money that I didn't.

I own a 2002 Toyota Rav 4 - 5 speed, when I purchased it I had a remote car starter installed and it worked great until now. If I use my car starter and I stall my car out it will not start again for about...

You either have a bad remote starter, or the remote starter has caused the body computer to fail. Remove the remote starter completely from the car. See if the car starts normally. If not, the body computer has failed. This is a very expensive item, and have been found to malfunction due to remote starter electrical failures.

2000 Toyota Rav4, just purchased. Has a two button Toyota FOB for door locks, alarm and remote starter? . The vehicle has a OEM Toyota remote starter installed but I don't know what combination of buttons...

My ex girlfriend had a factory installed honda remote strt on her vehicle. It was activated by hitting the lock button two times in succession. Some vehicles use a combination of the lock-unlock buttons. try using some combinations on the remote, many "oem" remote starts are installed by aftermarket installers so who knows what they did as a start function, it could also have been changed by the previous owner.
