Synthetic oil is a great product use it if you can afford it and the oil filter that your owners manual recommends is just fine. also the weight that your manual says to use is what you need to get as well. example synthetic 10w40 i like castrol

Use what the manufacturer recommends. Look in the manual. Most oil caps say what to use. I believe yours is SAE 5W20. Stick with it. Non synthectic.

Need to know what kind of oil mt 2007 RAV4 uses.

Your 2007 RAV4 requires 4.5 quarts SAE 5w20 with filter change. I use Pennzoil and highly recommend it but all major brands are good. Use a quality filter such as Wix, Purolator, or Bosch. Change your oil/filter every 5,000 miles if using conventional oil and every 7,000 miles if using synthetic if you drive normally.

What kind of motor oil does a 1994 Dodge Caravan use?

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Fluids-and-Chemicals/Engine-Oil/_/N-26qq

going to this site can help you locate your factory recommended oil, but your local store can give you the latest recommendations on synthetics for your older engine. Think about trying that!

What kind of oil do i use for a 2000 dodge carivan?

ENGINE OIL

You will need to use a 10W-30 grade engine oil, such as any of the following Mobil products.
"Fully synthetic" oils are more expensive. Conventional oils or syn blend engine oils are fine for the vehicle but need to be changed more frequently.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 10W-30
fully synthetic motor oil ;
spacer.gif Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-30
fully synthetic motor oil;
spacer.gif Mobil 1 10W-30
fully synthetic motor oil;

Mobil Clean 7500 10W-30
synthetic blend motor oil ;
spacer.gif Mobil Clean High Mileage 10W-30
a conventional motor oil;
spacer.gif Mobil Clean 5000 10W-30
a conventional motor oil .

I have a 2006 dodge stratus what kind of oil do i use ...4 cylinder

Use a good brand of synthetic 10w-30 for probably treble the mileage between changes. Otherwise use a good brand of petroleum based 10w-30 oil at 3000-4000 mile intervals. Hope this helps!

My oil light comes on every so often, breifly.

Check the Oil Pressure Sensor. It is located to the left of the Oil Filter. Check the connection, then remove, clean the sensor, reinstall and check operation again. If this does not work, remove again and replace this Sensor. Based on miles (130K) it is about time for a new one.
I'm not a big believer in synthetic oil, but that is my own opinion. I used exactly what is recommended.
If this does not fix the problem, then you should check for a leak. When checking the Oil Pressure Sensor: also check to see if the Oil Filter is tight enough. Was a light coat of fresh oil applied to the rubber o-ring gasket before putting on?

Can you use a full synthetic oil in 93 Dodge B250 Conversion van

Yes. Providing the engine has been well maintained and does not have lots lof sludge in it. I do not recommend flush (it loosens up too much debris all at one time and can plug pump screen. On older engines i usually introduce synthetic in "stages", replacing two quarts on first oil change, then 100% at 3000 miles (with filter). Does it work?? I used synthetic (amsoil) in a 318 engine bought at 100k miles and ran it till the trans finally started slipping @ 363K miles. When I bought it it had some light lifter noise. After using synthetic for a few months, noise disappeared and I never had any internal problems for the remainder of the time I had it (and sold car for $400 just for the engine!!!) As far as seaks go, usually synthetics will soften hard seals and lessen leaks valve covers etc may leak more but usually are easy to replace. Good luck PS: only synthetic I would not use is Mobil because there are more additive packages and less actual lubricant in each quart than you could imagine: it has been "re-formulated" at least ten times since they first put it on the market.
