One of two things . The wiper arm is not tight on the crank pivot , allowing the crank to move but not the wiper arm. Or the linkage from the wiper motor to the crank pivot has become disconnected .

SOURCE: Windshield wiper arm on passenger side won't move.

It will not be the motor, it will be the linkage or the wiper is slipping on the shaft, the lingkage is accsessible under the cowl, Hope this solves your problem and Merry Christmas

SOURCE: driver side mirror 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

1999 plymouth voyager van windshield wipers

Either the wiper arms are loose or stripped on the pivots or the wiper linkage is broken. Try tightening the arm to pivot bolt. If that doesn't work, remove the plastic cowling and examine the linkage. You can buy new linkage for it.

Turned on my wipers and they both worked and then the passanger side just made a pop sound and stoped , but the driver side is still working?

Although both wipers run off of the same push rods...each wiper arm is seperately attached to the base of your core support...you can check the tightness of the bolt on the passenger side...and you may be able to repair by just tightening,,,if not stripped out...then you would need to switch out the pivot arm assembly...hope the tightening works...BE SURE...to properly align the passenger side to match the drivers side BEFORE trying to tighten...turn off wipers...and align both in the sown position...clearance is important...:)

Passenger side wiper does not work

If the driver side wiper is working then the linkage under the long thin grille at the lower of the windshield has disconnected. You can remove the screws from the wiper cover assy cover and usually snap the link rod back on fairly easy. This usually happens when folks do not take the time in winter to clear the windshield of ice before turning on the wipers. If the wiper blades are stuck to the windshield and you turn them on this linkage will pop off and you can also strip out the wiper arm where it bolts on to the pivot, you can should try and tighten this nut first and get lucky. See if the pivot is moving is so tighten the nut at the bottom of the wiper arm. If the pivot is not turning it is the link rod.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix....Wipers are moving slowly

How to fix slow wipers on 2005 Grand prix
-Remove black plastic caps on the wiper towers (end of wiper arm)
    -Undo nuts (13mm)
-Make note of the wiper arms positions when in park so they can be reinstalled in the same spot. Also make note of the routing of the washer supply lines so you can reinstall them in the same position. Use a puller and pull off wiper arms. I did not have a puller but used a small c-clamp, jammed one end under the wiper arm and screwed the clamp into the wiper post (be careful with the threads, maybe leave the nut on loose until the arms break fee.
-Move the wiper arms and washer supply line to the top of the engine to be out of the way.
-Remove the rubber hood weather strip and store out of the way.
-Remove both sides of the plastic cowl cover, there are 3 expansion clips, use a screw driver or wire cutters to pry out the pin first, then pry out the clip itself using same tools. Move the covers up onto the windshield so they are out of the way.
-The entire wiper motor/transmission, wiper towers and arms are now exposed
-Remove the arm from the motor that runs across to the passenger side wiper tower. This will make it much easier to remove the wiper assembly. The arms have a plastic end that snaps over a ball, these can be removed by prying off with a thin pair of pliers.
-There are 3 bolts (10mm) holding the wiper assembly to the cowl. A 4th attachment point is merely a rubber end that fits into a slot in the cowl. Remove the 3 bolts and pull the wiper assembly from the car. Undo the electrical connection by pulling straight out.
-In most cases the ball and plastic end of the arms will not be seized. These can each be removed, cleaned, regreased and reassembled. Just push back on with a large pair of pliers.
-In my situation the driver's side tower and wiper shaft were moving freely. The passenger side was almost seized solid which is what causes the wipers to run real slow.
-The wiper shaft must be freed up and removed from the tower so that it can be cleaned, greased and reassembled. The hardest part is removing the small C clip at the top of the wiper shaft that holds the shaft in the tower. C clip pliers or other means can be used to remove this clip. Be careful you don't break it or lose it. Once the C clip is removed the shaft can be removed from the tower. I did this by soaking with penetrating oil and tapping it in and out and working it back and forth with large pliers. Again be careful with the threads on the shaft. Put the nut on and use a brass hammer. You cannot hammer real hard as the tower is cast aluminum and may break if hit too hard. By being patient I was able to work the shaft free from the tower, clean both well with emery paper, grease and reassemble.
-Overall reassembly is merely a reversal of the disassembly, being careful to put everything back in its proper place and order.
-Leave the arm off running from the motor to the passenger side tower as this will allow the wiper assembly to go back in place much easier. Once the wiper assembly is bolted back in place, snap the arm into place over the ball at the motor after greasing.
-Before reinstalling the plastic cowl coverings, it is a good time to replace your air conditioning intake filter in the cowl on the passenger side.
-The above process took me about 3 hours start to finish and is moderate difficulty. Once completed the wipers run and park just like new, and it didn't cost me a dime.

Driver side wiper does not move; passenger side wiper crosses over it

In view of the answer from jchaffcom I feel that if there is a Hex on the end of the Wiper Arm the Hex Nut needs Tightened. I have a 2004 Silverado and this is what happened to it. Simply tightening the Nut solved my problem. Try it and get back to me with the results whether good or bad.
