Check the engine coolant temperature sensor as it may be reading a false low temp causing a way too rich mixture.

You need a live data scanner to look at this when the problem occurs in real time, I could guess but that would waste your money and my time.

SOURCE: buick skylark 3100 unstable idle

Unstable idle can be caused by a vaccum leak. Best way to find a vaccum leak I have found is to
take a tube ( fuel hose or 1/4 inch vaccum line 2 or 3 ft long ) and put one end to your ear and use
the other end to probe around the engine intake manifold area and where ever vaccum lines connect
as well as along each vaccun line to ck for breaks or splits. Another method is to use WD40 to spray
around manifold an vaccun lines. This method usually will ( if there is a leak ) stablize the idle and
cause the idle to increase. Or you can use carb cleaner or startind fluid but these are quite volital and
can cause a fire. So be very careful how you use them. The WD 40 is unlikely to catch fire that is why I RECOMEND IT. With the tube method you will hear a hissing or sucking sound when you find a vaccun leak. Good luck.

SOURCE: My 1998 Buick LeSabre has a misfire on cylinder

Hi, I would check for a vacume leak around your intake manifold #1 cylinder runner. You can check by using a stethescope with a small piece of brake line in the end of the hose or spraying propane around the intake. If you hit a vacume leak the RPM will drop. Vacume leakes normaly cause a higher RPM at idle.

SOURCE: engine code p0133, p0134, p1133,

All those codes and such an easy fix. ALL of these codes point to your upstream 02 sensor. It's the one on the passenger side of the engine coming off the exhaust, very very easy to get to. Soak that puppy with PB Blaster then remove the electrical connector and remove and replace sensor. TRY to stay away from Bosch 02 sensors, have been known and reported problems with these. In my case, I didn't have a choice but to buy the Bosch, but I haven't had any problems with mine.

Hope this helps, look to get a tad more miles per gallon too.

SOURCE: 1990 Buick Regal 3.1 has rough idle, hesitates and dies when accelerating.

A lot of new parts! Have a compression test done to gauge the engine's internal condition, and go from there. If compression is good on all 6 cylinders, scan for trouble codes. The compression test may find your problem, something like an exhaust valve burned or not seating properly.

Downstream O2 sensor

This indicates that the cylinder bank # 1 (bank where cylinder #1 is located) is running lean. You could have a vacuum leak even a slight leak can set this OBD2 fault code. The other possibility is that the sensor is defective. To check the sensors and see how they respond to rick and lean conditions you need to have a live data scanner (available on eBay) and monitor the O2 sensors while the engine is running, O2 sensor voltage will vary from about .2 volts (lean) to 1.0 volt (rich). Do not replace just one sensor replace them in pairs only. DO NOT THROW PARTS AT THIS AS YOU WILL WASTE ALLOT OF MONEY IF YOU ARE WRONG, DO THE TESTING.

Ck engine light is on and miss fire #5

There are few possibilities that can cause engine misfire issues. It can be issue with spark plugs or faulty spark plugs. Also get the compression test done for cylinders. If any of cylinder shows low compression then required, then that particular cylinder will cause misfire.

Also get obd codes scanned, the error code will let you know which cylinder is misfiring or all cylinders are misfiring.

P134, p0141, po300, po130 and po135. 2005 Sunfire.

Given that most of the trouble codes are for the O2 sensor, I think I would change it. The multiple misfires could be because of improper fuel/air mixture caused by a bad sensor. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal then change the sensor. Disconnecting the negative(-) should reset the computer and allow the fuel/air mixture to return to default allowing the engine to start.
