It's not the BCM. Since one side works and the other doesn't. The bcm only grounds a relay for the the lights to work. Replace the hazard switch. If it is on the column, replace the turn signal switch. Sending a picture to help. Body control module location 2008 Chevy express 25 - 25345156-hyer52qe2lvlylkatonhnc1i-1-0.gif

SOURCE: Body Control Module - 2000 Chevy Blazer

Not sure about a body control module, there is a pcm under the hood on the pass. side that controls most everything on these, however i would check your fuses for the seat, on the 00 models the headlights do stay on all the time while driving due to daytime running lights but if they stay on after you take the key out then id check the headlight switch or sensor on the pass side dash.

SOURCE: Park/Tail lights not working. Brake/signals are

Before going ahead and spending money on a new module, test it first. The module is located under the steering column. You'll find a Brown wire on one of the connectors (i just looked at a wire diagram). Do no disconnect anything. Back probe the brown wire, which is the power feed to your park lights. With the lights off, there should be 0 volts on you voltmeter. Turn the park lamps on, There should be 12V. If there is not 12V, disconnect the connector and try to check voltage at the pin that feeds to the brown wire, if still not 12V, replace the module. If you do get 12V, then module is ok, find where the 12v is being dropped before making it to the lamps.

SOURCE: 2000 Buick LeSabre where power locks, seats, windows quit working

If all power devices stopped at the same time you may have a bad fuse link. Since it is rare for all the fuses blowing at once and you already checked them. Start at your fuse links before assuming something expensive.

SOURCE: I have A 2000 Chevy 3500 Express Van and the brake

Hi,

When you said that you checked the brake switch, did you check it live? Meaning verified live power to the switch, press switch, and then power came out the other terminal?

If so, also verify zero power on brake press, at the offending brake light bulb terminal. You must verify the test light each time you move it...leave running lights on...

After verifying that there is no power coming, after the brake is pressed, note the wire color and find it where it comes to the steering column and test there... This would eliminate wires and connections between front and the rear of the vehicle, unlikely, but needs to be tested.

After verifying no power at that terminal, then yes the t/s switch is certainly suspece. This may be the time to get a mechanic to verify and replace the switch, there are locks, tilt mechanisms, air bags, column bearings, etc involved. Failures risk loss of vehicle control (locking or binding for example.)..

Hope this gets you going in the right direction.

Testimonial: "Thank You. I tried those things and it seemed to be the Emergency Flasher switch in the multi function switch."

2008 Chevy Tahoe LTZ drivers seat power, both front seats have no heat.

Here is your fuse box diagram, but you are likely to need an auto-electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to work out where the heater communication problem is. The Body Control Module does your heating.

Where exactly is the brakelight fuse located diagram on a 2004 chevy malibu classic?

Doesn't have one , the BCM - body control module supply's voltage to the brake light's . Brake pedal position sensor is a input to the BCM .The BCM has battery voltage supplied from BCM fuse IBCM 1 fuse -fuse #20 30 amp ,located in the under hood fuse box.
Stop Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the stop lamps. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the BCM will receive a signal from the brake pedal position sensor. The BCM then supplies battery positive voltage to both left and right stop lamp assemblies and to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL). The stop lamps are grounded at G401 and G403. The CHMSL is grounded at G302.

The brake pedal position sensor receives a low reference signal and a 5-volt reference signal from the BCM. Whenever the brake pedal is applied, the brake pedal position sensor applies a variable voltage signal to the BCM through the stop lamp switch signal circuit. Brake pedal position sensor calibration must be performed after the brake pedal position sensor or body control module (BCM) have been serviced. The calibration procedure will set brake pedal position sensor home value. This value is used by the BCM to determine the action of the driver applying the brake system and to provide this information to the vehicle subsystems via the class 2 communication bus.

Hooking up a factory or someother professional type scan tool an checking for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM would be a good idea . If the brake light's are not working .

07 cadillac cts has no brake light all fuses are good and replace the brake switch.still not working any advice

Stop Lamps
The brake pedal position sensor is a resistive device used to sense the action of the driver's application of the brake pedal. The brake pedal position sensor provides an analog signal that will increase as the brake pedal is pressed.
The brake pedal position sensor receives both a 5-volt reference voltage and a low reference signal from the electronic brake control module (EBCM). When the brake pedal is pressed, a variable signal is applied from the brake pedal position sensor to the EBCM through the brake sensor signal circuit. The fuse block left rear supplies battery positive voltage to the bass relay switch through the BASS fuse. One side of the bass relay coil is permanently grounded at G402. The EBCM supplies voltage to the bass relay coil upon receiving the signal from the brake pedal position sensor. The switch contacts of the bass relay close and battery positive voltage is applied through the bass relay switch to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL), and to the turn signal/hazard flasher module through the stop lamp switch signal circuit. The ground for the CHMSL is applied from G402. The turn signal/hazard flasher module then supplies voltage to the left and right stop lamps in the tail lamp assemblies that have ground at G401 and G402. For export vehicles the stop lamps receive battery positive voltage directly from the bass relay.

Do you know where the rear fuse box is ? Check BAS fuse 15amp. and the bas relay , should be marked on the inside of the fuse box lid . The rear fuse box is located

Fuse Block - Left Rear
In the passenger compartment, under the left side of the rear seat at carpet

If fuse and relay are ok your best would be to take to a cadillac dealer .
