Hi there
Well is it the aircon you had serviced or the complete car service as if it was the car serviced then it would be as Stan Ford said other wise if it was only the aircon recharged and service then it could be a slight leak in the valve or the coulpling on main feed pipe.

May have spilt some oil on the exhaust manifold should burn off in a short time if not check for a oil leak around the exhaust.

I have a 2006 Mazda Tribute. Can you tell me what the recommended time is between lube and oil changes. Is it 3000 miles or 5000. Thanks

It used to be every 3 months or 3,000 miles but some manufacturers are suggesting that 5,000 miles is ok. My view is that it does not hurt the motor having more oil changes. I continue to have them done every 3,000 miles myself even if my oil life indicator has not come on. Clean oil is very important to have a engine last for many miles. There are some full synthetic oils that can go for 5,000 or 7,000 miles beteween oil changes but cost alot more than the standard oil.
