1999 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER HEATER/AC FAN ONLY WORKS ON HIGH

There should be a seperate fuse for the lower fan speeds and another for high. If you have the owner's manual you will find a fuse diagram in it, if not then try going to napaonline.com and do a search for the fuse box diagram.

Heater fan don't work, don't know which fuse operates heater fan

Hi!!
Look in engine compartment close to battery for fuse box, remove cover and inside cover there is a diagram of fuse/relay locations.
You are looking for a fuse and relay, it should say blower fan or AC blower fan. First check fuse, if Fuse is ok. check Relay.
Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

1999 Mercury Mountaineer, heater/AC fan no longer blowing

I would check the fan first disconnect the electrical connectors on it and use a pair of home made jumper cables and run it from the battery. If it works move unto relay if it doesn't you've found the culprit.
Next check relay in the fuse box. Coolant tempertant switch(CTS) aka thermal switch and its circuit. CTS is usually located in the water jacket by the t-stat.

I have a 1986 f150 and the heater fan does not work. Figured it was either fuse problem or fan motor is bad. Would like to check fuse but i have no diagram for the fuse box and no owners manual

I had this same truck but don't remember which fuse right off hand. The heater motor uses one of the heaviest fuses in the box though. Start checking your biggest amperage fuses and work down from there. If the fuses are good and if you can locate the motor leads you might be able to bypass the fuse box by connecting it to a battery or jump box. This will tell you if the motor is good. Don't let the motor run without the fuse though. See if it turns and IMMEDIATELY disconnect it from the battery/jump box. We're only seeing if we can get a reaction. The motor only needs to come on. Don't let it STAY on. Don't run your heater without the fan. It can destroy the heater coil and that's bad news.
