Go back and check for a bent pin or a wire backed out.

SOURCE: 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix - Tail light troubles - HELP?

Probably a broken ground wire. Check it with a test light. Make sure you have a good ground, and then stick the test light right in the socket to see if there is power. If there is power to the test light, but still none to the bulb, it's a ground wire. If there is no power, its a power wire. Just keep poking the wires, and work your way back until you find some power. Make sure you have the lights on when you're checking. Good luck.

A possable culprit may be your High / Low or dimmer switch. All the power to your lights are controled through that switch.

Testimonial: "It appears that is the problem, the book says to remove the steering wheel to remove the switch. I broke the wheel and now I'm in deep Do Do."

SOURCE: i have a 2001 potiac grand prix with no tail lights the same bulb work turn signal an brake lights they r fine ive checked all fuses and replaced all bulbs even replaced the light switch still no tail

no, they are not the same. The multifunction switch is on the steering column and controls wipers, turn signals, and hi/low beam headlights. Dash switch is on the dash and generally turns lights on and off and frequently also controls brightness of dash lights. I had a Camry that had the same thing happening...ended up having a toggle switch put in to control the tail lights...fixed the issue.

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix front left turn signal went out, I replaced the bulb and the light comes on but the turn signal still doesn't work. If I have the lights sent on automatic the right parking

Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

My heater is not coming on turning blower switch off lights go on

I have the same problem. Headlights go out and blower doesn't work on 1-4.  5 or high is on a separate circuit, bypassing the resistor.  I replaced a bad resistor once when 1-4 didn't work and it fixed the problem, but, it wasn't effecting my headlights then.  I replaced the resistor and blower motor this time, lights and blower still don't work on 1-4.  I'm going to try the switch next. If it's not that, must be a resistor wire grounding out. let me know if you find out first.

Headlights on 97 grand am gtp turn off when night comes but work during the day why all the lights work fine

Crazy problem. There is a photo sensor that tells the computer when it's dark and to turn on the lights. Do they work at night when you turn on the light switch ?
I would think the photo sensor is defective and should be replaced or eliminated from the light circuit.
