Check your brake fluid level, you might be low or out. If you're out, you're probably going to have to bleed the braking system due to air in the lines. Neither of the options are safe so I wouldn't recommend driving. If you need to take it somewhere I would tow it. Brakes aren't the only thing that helps stop cars :)

Check your switches for the VSC, some get bumped on (due to their location) and some get stuck in the "on"position.

Look up above your brake pedal and you should see a switch that is connected to it. This switch controls your brakes and in some vehicles, is tied in to the safety system. Change this and see if your van goes into gear ($10 part)

I have a 2004 sequoia with the same problem. VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF & brake light comes on at the same time. Sometimes just the brake light and other times all three. Sometimes no lights. Does anyone have a fix?
