Reset oil light after service... that is very important. And don't skip the oil change either.
1-turn on the ignition key, 2-press the gas pedal and hold it, 3-press the brake pedal 7 times without relesing the gas pedal, 4-keep pressing the gas pedal for 60sec. 5-Release the gas pedal and turn of the ignition key, 6- Wait for 60sec. Then turn on the ignition key and start the engine. Check if the service/oil change light turned off. That's it. Worked on my 2011 nemo van.
1993 ford f350 with 460 engine, will not star unless you press gas pedal to the flor and it may stay runnig then but not for long and seems to have no power when you put it in gear it dies
May be the starter or fuel pump. Might not be getting gas after turning it off. the gas may be settling to fast into the fuel pump and none staying in the engine. My friends SUV does not start unless you pump the gas pedal. Not an expert but its what i know it could possibly be.
what happens when it does finally run, does it run rough, black smoke?? if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking it COULD causet his problem. Find the regulator and take the vac hose off, if there is fuel in the hose, replace the fuel pressure regulator.
That normally means that you have a issue with your gas cap try replacing your gas cap first then diconnect the negative terminal of the battery for about three minutes to clear the memory and start the truck again
