Yikes! You may need to remove the rear seat of the vehicle and trip the trunk latch from the inside.

SOURCE: key fob remote start issues

You need to get one that works on the same wide range frequency as the reciever in the car, and then it's a simple matter of opening both the new and old fobs, and matching the fine frequency settings by putting the little switches inside where they should be according to the old fob's switches. If there are no switches in the old fob, it's preset and there's not much you can do about it.

Unable to open trunk on 2014 BMW220i. Both interior release & key fob do nothing. You can hear like a motor grinding in the trunk. Cannot find a way to fold rear seats either to get into trunk. Help?

Try pushing down on the trunk while you are trying to release the latch. That may free it. Other than that, you are likely looking at drilling the lock out.

You can probably get into the car but it sounds like you need to go to a dealer and have a new fob provided and programmed or maybe the old one can be programmed by the dealer who will know what to do. If you have an auto service club membership they can likely open the door and tow the car to a dealer. If not it might be cheaper to join a club than to pay for these services outright. Sometimes these people are also expert with fobs etc.

How do you turn on the anti theft system on a 2000 buick regal gse

The system should be armed after using the key fob to lock the car and then pushing lock one more time, horn should honk notifying you that the security system is armed.

Wireless Key Remote door & trunk opener won't work with trunk anymore

When you press the trunk open button, do you hear any "release" noise come from the trunk area? The issue may be a bad battery in the key fob OR there could be an issue with the transmitter located inside the vehicle. Do the doors lock and unlock properly? is the vehicle equipped with security or immobilizer? please advise

My 2006 Buick Lacrosse warning light started dinging while I was driving and the seat belt light for passenger seat started flashing even though there was no one in the seat. After stopping the car I...

It sound like two or three separate problems, but it's hard to tell. The seat belt warning could be a faulty switch which senses a passenger in the seat, while the trunk lid opening could be a battery problem in the key fob. However, if the door locks still work with the same key fob, the problem is more likely with the lock on the trunk. Not starting after stopping could be a battery problem.
